I had a problem with a part that they replaced. The part went bad early, not their work, just a part that had a defect. They replaced it right away, no questions, free of charge, under their 12 month 12 thousand mile warranty. I was many months, and many thousands of miles, into the warranty. Additionally, I have always had Goodyear tires on my vehicle, from the dealer.
I had one that the sidewall went bad, and had it replaced, with a Firestone tire. I was concerned about switching, at first. A bit of research reveals that they are manufactured by Bridgestone . It seems to perform comparably on my SUV, to the Goodyear tire , at about half the price the dealer charged for the Goodyear tire.
I also notice that I get a lot of punctures from screws, bolts, nails, in my Goodyear tires, while I have not had a single puncture in my Firestone tires. Goodyear are in the back, and Firestones are in the front. I'm thinking the front go over the screws, bolts and nails first, then the Goodyears in the back. Why haven't they ever had a puncture? It appears they are more puncture resistant. If you get your tires from them, they will repair any repairable punctures, in a tire they sold you, free of charge.
I tried a bunch of mechanics shops, in the area, since moving here in 2003. This i0s the first shop, I really like, to work on my car. Going to the dealer , all the time, is way too expensive!
